I’ve sat in the Product pods at Zendesk, MessageMedia, Xplor, and Cuttable as their internal recruiter, responsible for getting product hires right. I’ve been to the stand-ups, understood the tech stack decisions, watched how teams navigate competing priorities between engineering, design, and the business. I know what makes product people effective in different environments because I’ve been accountable for those hires.
