Crew started in 2018 when Simon wondered if there might be a market for a different type of recruitment business. He didn’t realise it at the time but that was where the Micro RPO part of the business began.

From starting as an idea to now being regarded as one of Australia’s leading Talent Acquisition companies in just a few short years has been thrilling and terrifying but we’re just getting started.

  • Every Crew member has 4 weeks of annual leave per year.
  • This equates to 20 days which is aligned with the local standards.
  • We’d want and expect you to use this within 12 months.
  • Leaves are granted to you on a pro-rata basis assuming you haven’t been with us for the whole year.
  • We want to be fair to all our Crew members, so if you can, please (WE BEG YOU!) put your leaves in as early as possible to avoid any disappointments. You’ll be set up in Xero and can book leave directly there.

The standard is 10 working days, we hope you don’t have to take more 🤒  if you do – they will roll into your AL days first before going into unpaid

We’re not in a position to give you more than what’s legislated by the government (YET!) for now. So what’s required by law will be what you will receive.

No kids? No pawblem 🐶 🐱 we allocate 1 day each year for vet visits, grooming appointments, pet-related errands and emergencies. Take 2 half days or 1 full day, we leave this to you!

  • We want to promote D&I in Crew. So we’re giving up 2 Aus holidays for you to have the flexibility to choose your own Public Holiday to match your home country or culture
    • These days are the Melbourne Cup and
    • Grand Final Day
  • E.g.: You can swap Melbourne Cup Day for Diwali, Chinese New Year, Eid, etc.
  • Keep these days if you prefer, swap them for another if you want!

We understand parenting alone can be tough at times. We’ve provided an extra 1 day for our single parents to allocate for 1st day of school, parent teachers’ meetings, anything you’d like. Again, take 2 half days or 1 full day
